La Pigna* ceramic pine cone

Artefacts placed on balconies, windows or terraces everywhere in the Apulia, and particularly in the Salento area. They have the shape of a flower bud, symbol of a new life, prosperity, fertility and immortality. These symbols are associated with religious faith in the traditional culture of Salento.
